KeyChain
Keychain is the password management system of MacOS. If you changed you nethz-password, it needs to be changed in the keychain as well. This will not be done automatically. If the keychain password is not correct, you will not be able to connect to network drives.
- Go to the Finder Go Menu and select Utilities
- Select Keychain Access
- Select Login Keychain and then “network password” or “internet password” for printers and shares.
- Hold the “control” key down and click the Keychain entry.
- Select "Delete“.
- Add the new entry to your keychain.
IMPORTANT:
If you are using devices with “PowerNap” functionality, please change the passwords on these devices immediately when changing the ETH password. Otherwise, the permanent e-mail checking of the device will lock down your ETH account very soon.
